*** Model: TECNAI G2 SPIRIT BT ***
The FEI (now Thermo Fisher Scientific) Tecnai G2 Spirit
BioTWIN is a scanning transmission electron microscope
(S)TEM with an operating voltage range of 20 to 120 kV. Ideal for samples with
low contrast and <200 nm thickness, this microscope can provide detailed
images at up to 700 kX with its AMT electron camera. This system can acquire
individual bright-field and dark-field images, record videos at low frame rates
for in-situ (S)TEM experiments, collect diffraction patterns, perform
diffraction-filtered imaging, and ADF-STEM imaging. This TEM has microprobe and
nanoprobe modes, a small-prove convergent beam, and large 70 specimen tilt. This
microscope was serviced throughout its lifetime by FEI and TFS field service
engineers. Microscope computers compatible with up to Windows XP, camera
computer compatible with up to Windows 7. This system was fully operational
until being carefully packaged by Thermo Fisher Scientific TEM field service
engineers to be re-homed. The buyer is responsible for service contract,
consumables, and windows and software licenses.
